Woodhouse is offering its expertise to landscape architects and urban master planners in the form of two RIBA accredited CPD seminars: Lighting the Landscape and Materials Used in Street Furniture and Lighting.

Lighting the Landscape is a seminar that addresses the key principles of urban landscape settings. It covers compliance issues and obligatory standards through to artistic and aesthetic lighting considerations. Materials Used in Street Furniture and Lighting seminar discusses the implications and benefits of using particular materials and finishing processes to achieve products suitable for use in a variety of applications. Finger posts and monoliths in coastal environments, for example, are best supplied in specialised finishes to reduce the risk of staining as a result of exposure to salt water.

Woodhouse’s industry professionals are able to offer this level of detailed knowledge to seminar attendees, helping them make informed material selections, whilst complementing the surrounding urban vista with the most relevant product specification.
