Hoebridge Golf Centre in
Woking, Surrey has reduced its
lighting electrical load by around
90% following an upgrade to
MASTER LEDlamps from Philips
Lighting. As well as reducing
energy consumption, the
MASTER LEDlamps have an
average life of 45,000 hours, over
five times as long as the halogen
lamps previously used, so that
Hoebridge will also benefit from
reduced maintenance costs.
In the clubhouse, reception
and Horizon gym 365 x 7W
GU10 MASTER LEDlamps have
replaced 50W halogen spotlights,
with a further 22 x 4W MASTER
LEDs replacing 20W halogen
lamps. In the pro shop, 48 2 x
26W compact fluorescent
fittings have been replaced with
Philips 33W LuxSpace mini LED
downlights. Across the project,
the electrical load has reduced
from over to 21,000W to just
over 2,000W.
