A-Plant, is sponsoring the
2009 ConstructionariumTM with
a dedicated fleet of new hire
equipment. Supplied in close
cooperation with a number of
the company’s major suppliers,
the A-Plant equipment will be
used by students attending the
Constructionarium over the next
four months.
Constructionarium provides a
hands-on construction experience
for students and young
professionals and this year is being
attended by 14 universities with
the Westminster and Nottingham
Universities the latest to join the
fold. Since its inception in 2003,
the student attendees have
provided very positive feedback on
their learning experiences on the
Constructionarium educational
project, which has received wide
recognition as an industry leading
scheme.
Asif Latief, A-Plant Marketing
Director, said: “A-Plant is
delighted to be supporting this
year’s Constructionarium in
collaboration with our supplier
partners, including JCB, Terex,
ArcGen-Hilta, Wacker Neuson,
Makita and Seddons. Since it was
formed six years ago,
Constructionarium has
introduced an exciting new
opportunity for our construction
students, giving them an early
taste of the practical side of the
industry. We have supplied a
fleet of equipment to cover the
applications at the
Constructionarium site, which we
hope will provide the students
with an insight into the
importance of plant on
construction projects.”
