Airdrie ranks as one of the 20 highest courses in Scotland so robust and reliable machinery is needed to tackle the demanding conditions, Airdrie’s New Holland fleet includes a 59hp TN60D-A, a 45hp T45D-A and a 21.5hp TC21D, which carry out the bulk of the day-to-day maintenance tasks at the Club.

“They are very sturdy, wellbuilt machines and they stand up to intensive usage all day, every day,” says Stuart Cameron Head Greenkeeper.

Stuart evaluated many different makes of tractor before deciding on New Holland. As he says, “Every course is different and you need to ensure that the machines you have are right for your conditions. We once had some other brand units which we found awkward to use and difficult to maintain but our New Hollands have never llet us down. They’re perfect.”
