Dennis will have a full display of its precision mowing machinery at BTME 2008, and will give an insight into exciting developments planned for the year ahead.

Dennis

Dennis prides itself on its continuous investment in new products and its in-house engineering team that listens closely to customers’ requirements. This has led to the development of the Sport Ultra, a dedicated mower with a very short wheelbase thanks to a compact configuration incorporating a powered tungsten tipped groomer reel with a Weile grooved front roller. It was developed from Dennis’ Sport Mk2 machine whose adjustable comb assembly lifts horizontal grass blades prior to cutting, for the perfect turf finish.

“BTME provides an ideal opportunity for us to promote our established range of machines that are literally at the cutting edge of technology,” says Dennis’ Managing Director Ian Howard. “However, our research and development programme is ongoing, and we will soon be unveiling exciting new developments to our professional line-up. This maintains the dynamic approach that customers have come to expect from Dennis.”

The FT range will feature prominently on the stand. Available in widths from 430mm-610mm (17in-24in), the innovative pedestrian machines accept 11 quick-change cassette Dennis maintains its leading cutting edge attachments for mowing, scarifying, verti-cutting, rolling, slitting, brushing and other essential tasks. This versatility gives maximum costeffectiveness and performance, and the machines are powered by reliable Honda petrol engines that are also designed for very low vibration.

Also on show will be the G760 and G860, derived from the FT Series and offering 76mm and 86mm (30in and 34in) cutting widths. Offering similar cassette versatility, they are particularly suited for heavyduty use by contractors and other intensive users. Lightweight and manoeuvrable, the machines have a cast threesection aluminium ribbed roller to ensure positive traction.
