Garden
machinery specialist Tracmaster has launched a new range of CAMON log splitters
to complement its landscape and groundcare machinery
range.
The
new product line includes the SP4E 4 Ton Log Splitter, a compact but powerful log splitter which can reduce
logs into manageable sizes and create kindling. The simple to operate
SP4E is highly manoeuvrable and
requires a minimum of maintenance and
upkeep.
For domestic and semi-professional operators who want to split large
quantities of logs with the minimum of fuss, Tracmaster has introduced the SP7E,
which combines a powerful 7 tonne force with a compact and manoeuvrable size and
can split logs up to 52cm in length.
The SP8E Log Splitter is a powerful 8 tonne machine with a double
acting cylinder that offers the operator complete control of the splitting
wedge. The machine is recommended for semi-professional and professional
operators including hire companies and conservation societies. The SP8E offers
an adjustable working height, which can ease the pressures on your body when
working for long periods of time and the lifting handle allows it to be
manoeuvred like a wheelbarrow. The SP8E can also be reduced in size to make it
compact for storing in limited spaces during transportation.
The SP9P Log Splitter is a "go-anywhere" machine powered by Vanguard
petrol engine, capable of splitting logs up to 110cm in length. For smaller
length logs, a movable table allows the user to work at a more comfortable
height. A double handed clamping and downward activation system is utilised,
making this an extremely safe log
splitter.
Tracmaster Sales and Marketing Director Alex Pitt said: “Tracmaster’s
new range of log splitters has been launched to complement our existing CAMON
range of rotavators, scarifiers, aerators, chippers and shredders. Our new range
can be used for a broad range of log splitting applications and is suitable for
use by professional landscapers and conservation workers to householders wishing
to cut their own logs. Like all CAMON products, our new range of log splitting
machines has a durability and build quality that is second to
none.”
